Wymondham
Utd u10 v Drayton u10
During light
spells of snow the Drayton forwards exchange passes down wymondham’s right and
the final shot goes wide for a goal kick. Anthony has his first attempt at goal
but this goes wide. Drayton's shot at goal well saved by Anthony W. George &
Luke both have attempts for Wymondham.
Anthony A darts down the line and one
on one with the keeper who saves well.
Drayton forward runs down right flank,
but Sam muscles him off for a goal kick.
Wymondham enjoy most of the
possession so far but no goal yet to show for it.
Drayton have a good attempt but only manage to hit the bar, which is
then followed by a good save by Anthony W.
At the beginning of the
2nd half, an excellent goal kick by Ben finds Anthony A who latches
on to ball for a shot at goal which breaks the deadlock giving Wymondham a 1-0
lead.
Despite further pressure from Drayton some stout defending by the
Wymondham team, led by Ben prevents Drayton from equalising, and the game ends
in a deserved 1-0 victory for Wymondham who managed to take one of their
numerous chances.
Final Score: Wymondham 1 – Drayton 0
